I'm originally from the Los Angeles area, but have been in the Chico area for almost 30 years. I attended California State University Chico where I graduated with a degree in International Business. I then got my law degree from Cal Northern Law School.
I started my practice in 1997 and in 2000 associated with Latimer and Kenkel, working with Dennis (Denny) Latimer, a veteran criminal defense attorney for over 40 years. I now have the pleasure of working with not only Denny, but his son Denver who joined the firm in 2010 and his daughter Elizabeth who joined in 2015. Although we have separate practices we often collaborate on cases and use our combined experience to help our clients.
I take my job seriously and believe that my clients' lives should be better after I represent them. Part of that process is discussing not only the case, but the circumstances that led to it. My goal for each of the clients I represent is to not only obtain a favorable outcome, but to resolve the issue in a way that will result in my services no longer being needed.
